f*ck it's noon b*tch "I can't make it?" - Dan at the Chinese Embassay

I like to eat food in layers sometimes.

I've found a way to make the internet portable.
Dan and Alex had to go to Ottawa for some visa paperwork. We needed a bit of internet for directions in case we got lost.
It was quite useful. Mapquest all the way.
There was an electro party in Dan's car. We got juiced!
What kinda working hours are that?

After getting the paperwork done and some photos taken , it turns out that there was no way they could get it stamped and ready for 1pm. It was noon... So my friends just left their passports and 200$ with a man they just met. He said he was going to bring their passports back to them in Montreal for 35$. (Seem like he does this quite often). I picked up some books about China and got to hang out with Dj Tanner.

"I can either make my tracks good or gay." - Tanner
"Well, how about doing both?"
"Hmmmmm... well I make it gay but good I don't know." - Tanner

Alright, off to Toronto to do a bit of filming. I'll read up about China and parasites tomorrow.

oi oi

I woke up at noon today and I overheard my roomate saying to some friends over at our house :"Nice, this is sooo exciting, I can't wait to go outside"...

In my head I was like "please no...no no"....
I got out of bed, looked through the window and realized I now lived in the north pole and my backyard was covered in snow. avalanche style.

This is a polar bear. I am not a polar bear. there is nothing polar about me. (bipolar maybe but we're not talking geography here) I'm white but I'm not big and fury and I don't like jumping on icebergs. although this dude seems to be having fun.

--------------

Don't get me wrong. snow is pretty and blah blah blah...but honestly it's pretty for like a week or two and then it just becomes annoying. Winter becomes annoying. You're always cold no matter how many sweaters you put on. your feet are bound to be wet at some point in the day. walking on snow is like walking on sand (just less exotic). your pants' bottoms are always destroyed and and all rough and salty...

I do admit though I was super proud of myself when on our way to dusty's to have brunch I smacked a nice little snow ball right in my roomie's forehead (that's when I started running and realized it was like running on sand).

Quebec I love you but you're bringing me down (in the winter)

So, I spent the rest of the day at home trying to figure out how this ableton music software program worked cause I've decided, since I still haven't fulfilled my childhood "I wanna be a singer" dream yet, I would at least try to learn how to make a song...I must admit, my future as a composer/dj is not looking that bright as we speak. It will get better with time. that is of course if I don't go nutso over that thing and in a moment of crazy outburst, attempt to destroy my beloved computer..."patience is a vertue" they say right?

oh oh oh oh oh cheerio oh oh oh oh oh

I wanted to talk about music too in the post but i'll keep it for my next post.

My little cousin Caroline is getting ready for Chrismas

I'm going to Ottawa to go write a blog. I'll be back shortly. There is supposed to be a snow storm tomorrow. Alex and Dan are getting their paper work done so they can goto China. They have to goto the Chinese embassy, which is a huge inconvenience for them.

This is Catherine Bodmer and her piece Reservoir

And this is Julie Morazain's  "Amenagements"

Please go check out their work at the Belgo while it's still there.
